Rickard Kallis - Beacon of Hope

A knight of the now destroyed kingdom of Aspard. Though the kingdom he once served is but a memory, he still upholds his duties, protecting the remaining citizens of Aspard in The Colony, a settlement built in southern Aspard to safeguard those who are left. He aims to one day rebuild Aspard to its former glory remaining ever hopeful for his goal.

Rickard and Everest used to be companions, but when Everest discarded his knighthood, he took it as an act of betrayal to his country and his people. He still longs for Everest to return to the knights, despite their opposing views on what to do after the Cataclysm, valuing the camaraderie they once shared.

Rickard is a kindhearted man with an incredibly strong sense of justice. He takes his duties as a knight seriously, leading his fellow knights and soldiers of Aspard fairly, but firmly. He is devoted to his homeland, willing to justly do what it takes to restore the land to what it once was.
